White piece plays critical move along thematic line to be interfered by black piece and after subsequent arrival of the black King to the thematic line captures the interfering piece giving check (or checkmate).
Black-White Maslar. Black makes the critical move and White the interfering move, finally Black captures the interfering white unit.
Peri-Cricitical Maslar. Instead of moving critically, white piece moves around the critical square where it captures the black piece.
